‘Beach (Real Love)’ is the latest track from lilo, an emerging London-based duo. The pair have only released three tracks so far, but their creative bond goes all the way back to their childhood. Now, it manifests itself as tightly woven, harmony-driven indie-folk tracks that put as much emphasis on beautifully constructed melodies as they do the ethereal, dreamy texture that runs through all their music. They explain that the single “explores the different ways that love can manifest in our lives; it’s about how, often, it’s in friendship that we encounter love in its most authentic and enduring form.” Their debut EP, Sleep Country, is due for release on January 28^th, 2022. -Dan Peeke
